Happy New Year!
I got myself a WD Elements 4 TB for the new year and am looking for a manual.
The reasons:
I can’t figure out how the power button is supposed to work. When I press it once or twice, nothing happens. I have to hold it to stop the drive.
Originally I was hoping to detach it with the mouse like other USB devices, but that option is missing for this drive. I just found it through the task bar. Why are not both ways offered?
Even after detaching it this way, the drive doesn’t shut down. I have to hold the power button for a while to force the shut down.
I have also problems enabling Bitlocker. It took all day yesterday to encrypt it, but it still doesn’t work.
What’s wrong, or is it me?
