WD Elements 2TB - Not Visible On WD Security App

Hi Everyone,
I own a WD Elements 2TB storage device.
I wanted to use WD Security to encrypt its contents.
Is it possible achieve this as WD security does not show my WD elements and simply says “attach a supported WD Drive”

First time on WD community. I see the response from TonyPh12345 that WD Elements doesn’t support built-in encryption. Is there another way to protect the data? If there is no way to protect the data, then I probably will return the 4TB drive I just received today.
