WD Elements 2 TB HDD not working without any physical damage or beep sounds

It’s roughly a year since I have bought WD Elements 2 TB external HDD. I was using it without any problem so far, but suddenly today morning, it stopped working. My PC would be able to detect it but can’t do anything further. Here I’m attaching some screenshots to make the problem clear. When I try to access it by double clicking, it would say ‘parameter incorrect.’ Also HDD is not making ANY unusual sounds. It’s spinning normally as far as I can tell and white led is sometimes blinking and sometimes stable.

Please advice me what to do. I would really like to have both - my data & drive back.

Also, windows explorer crashes every single time I try to right click on this HDD & nor windows disk management neither easeus partition master can open when this drive is plugged in. I’ve tried changing cables but no luck. Even diskpart stays hung up with drive plugged in. Please help

Hello,

Are you able to test the drive on a different computer? if possible, try using a different USB cable.

If stills the same on a different computer, try using a data recovery software to see if you can get the data out of the drive.

i have also the same problem…
@Poorn_Mehta
