WD Easydrive says no files to recover

I have been using the WD easystore once a week on Friday’s to back up my work laptop. Last week the laptop’s harddrive failed. They got me a new laptop and recovered some of my files. I would like to recover the rest from my easystore external hard drive. However, after plugging it in to my new laptop it says that there are no files to recover.

I know that files are there, because I can navigate to them through the drive in explorer. However, all the files end in LAST or random digits, only show 1KB in size and can’t be open.

How do I get to all these files?
