WD discovery Problems

Suddenly I am unable to access my files in the WD external Hard Drive. The WD icon on my imac indicates that it is “Open” but the thin blue line that indicates the amount of storage is missing
Yes… I have run all the diagnostics and everything seems to OK yet …There’s something wrong the help folks at Sandisk do not appear to be in a hurry to respond to my queries.

WD Discovery Passport and I am running it on Mac OS Ventura

The machine has been functioning without fault for over 10 years

It seems like your WD external hard drive isn’t showing storage details. Try checking Disk Utility on your Mac and use “First Aid” to repair it. If the drive isn’t recognized, test it on another Mac or PC to see if the issue is with the drive or your iMac. Also, make sure WD Discovery is updated for macOS Ventura.
