Suddenly I am unable to access my files in the WD external Hard Drive. The WD icon on my imac indicates that it is “Open” but the thin blue line that indicates the amount of storage is missing.

Yes… I have run all the diagnostics and everything seems to OK yet …There’s something wrong the help folks at Sandisk do not appear to be in a hurry to respond to my queries.
