WD elements external drive cannot be mounted in either linux, macOS or windows. Drive shows up in WD discovery software but cannot be managed there

This is how the drive is presented on the WD discovery tool.

For comparison this is how MyBook is presented on the same tool:

It does not show up in macOS’s disk utility nor from running diskutil list. It also randomly beeps if that’s possible.
