When I boot my PC I get this JavaScript error. I have uninstalled & reinstalled WD Discovery and it keeps happening. Any help to sort this out would be gratefully received.

Other ideas…

nope had to manually uninstall it registry editor force closing explorer deleting the wd software thru command prompt… going thru windows uninstall threw up javascript errors too it was a 2 hour process… thanks wd.

There is a complete detail process in the Knowledgebase of uninstall for those who are still having trouble uninstalling. There is also a 2GB cache that can take up disk space in the host PC that should be deleted if the uninstall did not go to completion.

Delete the following WD Discovery folders if they are present on the system.

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Western Digital\WD Discovery
    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\WD Discovery
    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\WDDesktop
    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Western Digital\WD Discovery
