I have bought WD Caviar Green WD10EARS 1 TB SATA-300. My motherboard is ASUS A7N8X deluxe. I have read that because of my chipset (NVIDIA® nForce2) i must install the HDD on a sata controller card. I have a sata controller card VIA 6421A which is compliant with Serial ATA specification revision 1.0, 1.1 and 2.2. I have put the jumper on hdd so that it works on sata1 mode. The problem is that i have frequent blue screens and the reason is the hard drive. Is there any sata contoller card that i could purchase so that i have no problems? What should my new sata controller be compatible with?
