WD Black P10 Drive - Suddenly Read Only

I got this portable drive for my games – has been working great for almost a year. I use on a Windows 7 desktop PC.

But in the last few days, I’ve discovered the drive is Read Only…I cannot modify anything on it.

In the drives Properties there is no “Security” tab as some posts suggested to look. Also, when I use DiskPart to manually adjust the drive to Read/Write, though it reports the modification is successful, it remains Read Only.

Any ideas?
