New 2TB My Passport but none of the software (Backup or Discovery) will install or even start to. WD Backup from new drive and also from WD website won’t get past 0% so I guess it is a problem with my Windows 10 pc but there’s no clue as to what’s stopping the installation. Please help.

I would suggest you to check the Antivirus program, it might be preventing or blocking the installation of the WD Backup software.
I logged in as another user with separate settings and all loaded successfully so it probably was some of my protection software causing the problem . Very grateful for your advice.
