WD Apps software will not install on Win10

I have 1gb My Passport Ultra that came with WD Apps Software to use to back up to the drive. The drive is detected, but the WD Apps software will not install on my Windows 10/64 desktop computer. Anyone know a work-around? Can you suggest a good [preferably free] software to use for backup?
