WD 1tb Essentials - can I use autobackup and do manual file too?

Hi

The thought of auto backup of someof my PC folders is great. However - I also want to manage some other unique folders on the 1TB drive manually - some files/folder may come from internet and wil never appear on my PC. So these will ne manual.

Question - can the Smartware software be used for some PC folders as well as manually managing other folders on the WD1TB drive (not using the Smartware)  becasue there is sooo much space. ?

No, Smartware will not do this, but you can. Just copy and paste or drag&drop the files you want into a folder you create inside your Passport.
