WD is sending me a replacement PR4100 due to a fan failure in my original NAS. I have backed up the config file. Will I be able to load the config file in the new box, and as long as the drives are inserted in the correct order still have access to the media on the drives? Or am I looking at the loss of the media and PLEX media server because the new box will try to rebuild the RAID for some reason?

The only additional steps I took were to save the config from the defective unit, and load it onto the new replacement after updating the firmware. It was like it never happened.
