Hello, after the new fw i lost my Wifi configuration. I cant even configure it under Network Settings. IS this a know issue? I rolledback to v1.11.14
I’m experiencing the same problem. This makes the device useless since all my files are on the network. I reported the issue here:

Were you able to connect via wifi after rollout to v11. ? I am still not able to do that.

Were you able to connect via wifi after rollback to v1.11.14? I could connect with LAN cable only.
yes, once i rolled back i got the Wifi back to connect. But now i cant get to connect my Win 7 shares back on the device. So frustrated. i have the older WDTV live (3 years old) and that has no issues connecting to the network shares. So something glitched on the Gen 3 with these fw updates.
Rollback did NOT fix the issue for me. I hope this can be resolved quickly, otherwise it’s about as useful as a coaster.
Even for me… Rollback didn’t work for me as well. Did u call customer call.
I finally was able to fix it. I rolled back 2 versions to 1.10.13, did a factory rest, upgraded to 1.11.14, did another factory reset, and then I was able to connect to wireless.

Factory reset mean … Via Setup menu or Pressing reset button in bottom.
via settings menu.
Although suddenly I can’t view any files on my wd tv hub (via windows shares or media server).
Did you guys get the Networks shares back? I cant get them at all i rolled back to .13 and still nothing. maybe i’ll try .12
Phewww… got all of my Win Shares to show up with Wifi. Thats that im not going to v.14 im staying with v.13.
Basicly after couple of Device Resets and reentering wifi securtiy codes by magic everything started appearing.
My 2 cents… stay away from the new FW. sorry, i know how much work goes into firmware but this one really messed me up
Just out of interest how do you know that you could not have achieved that with the new firmware.

Even with wired connection win shares were not accessible.
Myabe it is my network config and PC setup but still the old WDTV Live worked fine so that rules out the other sources.
I am using router Linksys E3000. … And have no chjanges done on router side.
Any update on this iussue.

I Have also tried connecting external USB Wifi Adapter(Compatible One , which is working on other wdtv Box) . I can’t see any Web GUI Asking SSID/Access Point. WDTV Please do something .
It will not work with external adaptors. Have you tried resetting to factory defaults plus removing from power for a short period of time. There is no web gui, go to network settings and select wireless.

yes i tried reset …multiple times
yes i don’t see any wiresless or wired option under Network set up. . What i see is only Automatic or manual IP Settings
