Hello, I have a PR2100, and a single bay Gen 2 unit (both of these are running OS5), and also a single bay Gen 1 unit (running OS3).
I have basic wireless IP cameras that I’ve configured and have working on my network. These are basic cameras and don’t have any special programs or accounts associated with them. I am able to use a (generic) mobile app to view my cameras away from home and this works great.
I would like to know if there is a way to record my cameras via any one of the My Cloud. I am unfamiliar with the apps and don’t know if there is an appropriate one that i could use. Your assistance is appreciated.

Depends on the IP camera being used. I had a cheap IP camera and what I got it to do is to send still frames by FTP to the NAS if it has noticed there was movements.
It depends on the IP camera’s abilities and feature set.
Thank you Myron. The camera in question is manufactured by Sercomm, and i believe the model is iCam2 (same as icontrol 1000 or iCam 1000).
The camera does have a “record” function that will record between 0-20 seconds and it wants to send it via email or FTP. I had it sending emails using mail.com, but that stopped working. Ive tried everything i could find on using google/yahoo/hotmail/and my ISP email and it just doesn’t work.
How would i go about setting this up to work with FTP to the NAS?
