Hi,
A USB Hard Drive is always attached to my MyCloudMirror device.
I would like to have a recurring backup job to this USB device (for example - backup selected folders every night).
How can I do that?
Another question is - what is the difference between the “copy” option and the “synchronize”?

Currently, there’s no option for the USB backups to setup a recurring backup.
As a recommendation, add this to the ideas board to see if that can be implemented.

If you’re comfortable with Linux and SSH, you can do it via SSH with rsync and a crontab job.
But doing so is messing directly with the MCM OS, and isn’t supported by WD (and will probably void your warranty).
