Anyone have a good method of checking and updating these drives on a QNAP NAS box. It says my current version is 82.00A82 on all 4 hdd’s Thank you
It’s best to update the unit’s firmware by connecting the hard drive directly to a computer instead of using a NAS device.
There are no firmware updates available on WD’s site for the WD Red hard drive family at the time of this post.
