Updated to Catalina and now My Passport not working as Time Machine

I updated to Catalina and now my My Passport is not working as my Time Machine. Old copies are there but it won’t make any more. I’ve updated WD Utilities but it won’t let me Check the Status of my drive (nothing happens at all)
Any advice on what I can do??
