Unrar downgrade

Hello everybody,

After an update on the weekend, I had to setup my WD MBLD from scratch. As a concequence, I had to reinstall optware and pyload. Unfortunately, there seems to be a bug with pyload, when using unrar 5.x (as I found out overe here: http://forum.pyload.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3308&p=12895#p12895)..)

Now, I’m a total Linux noob. So I’ve tried almost everything to downgrade my unrar. Because ‘make’ doesn’t work without installing developer essentials and I don’t wanna do that on my NAS. Since I don’t have any other choice, I wanted to ask someone over here, if it would be possible to upload a fully compiled unrar 4.x :slight_smile:

Hi sokeking, this type of modifications are not supported, maybe other users can share some advice.

That was actually my intention. Sorry for not pointing it out in the first place :slight_smile:

Hey again,

I just simply fixed pyLoad on my own. It now works with unrar 5 as well - at least for me :slight_smile:
