Unable to upgrade to DSM

Hi,
I want to upgrade my My Cloud EX2 to Synology DSM, any version.
I tried the tutorial found online but the device always come back to life in Safe Mode.

I have tried DSM-wdmc-mirror-7321.pat, DSM-wdmc-mirror-7393.pat and DSM-wdmc-mirror-8451.pat and get the same result.

@Fox_exe says My Cloud EX2 is the same as My Cloud Mirror GEN 1.
But my P/N ends with “-20”.
Is it still GEN 1 ?

Has anyone here achieved this update ?

I have not heard anything related to DSM successfully running on WD NAS units.
