Two Passports Confused by backup software

I have two 2 TB passport devices. I use one for generic data storage and one as a backup for the generic storage device (mentioned previously) and my PC hard drive.

The WD software is trying to use both passports as backups.

Is there any way that I can stop the WD software recognising one of the devices as a backup device and

have it merely recognised as a generic storage device that needs backing up onto the other passport.

Hi there and welcome to the WD community.

The drives will always be recognized by the software, but if you do not set any backup with your generic drive it will not backup to it.
