I’ve been using a 2tb drive via usb 3.0 on my desktop with a usb 3.0 card. I bought a second drive to backup the first and want to hook it up to the other usb 3.0 port on the card. The problem is no matter what i do the computer only reconizes one at a time…if i hook the second drive up, it’s ignored unless I unplug the second. They both are assigned the same drive letter. I have another usb 3.0 drive (differnt model) that’s recognized even when the other other 2tb drive is active so I assume it’s not a card issue.
Any thoughts on how to use both esential drives via the 3.0 card?
