2 identical 2 TB drives won't mount properly

Hi

I owned 1 x 2 TB my passport and thought it was so good I got a second drive.
The problem I ran into is the computer sees both drives as identical and won’t mount both drives at the same time.
I tried changing the drive letter for the new one though disk management and I also renamed the drive, but this just changed “both” to the new drive letter. How do I have one drive on say F and one on G at the same time?

The pc is the latest spec and runs w7.

Many Thanks
