Thunderbolt bus

I experienced a everlasting time doing a backup of my PC system through my first and recent external HDD. I was very worry about that, but now the world is switching to Thunderbolt technology. It means that if I could have the appropriate cable, I could replace my WD Elements provided USB 3.0 cable, for one which take advantage of the better speed that Thunderbolt brings.
Could you produce this cable or is a current on-sale Standard product??

Hi WD-web,

There could be multiple reasons for slow back up which includes connecting the external drive straight on the USB 3.0 port of the host device avoiding any USB hubs for optimum performance. We also manufacture WD My Book Pro external drive that supports USB and thunderbolt port. Please refer to some useful link below for more information.
