I am also an unlucky user (through the company i work for) for some months now… i read the forums and everywhere for the hundrends of problems with this device and i wonder one thing:
WHY WD HAVEN’T RECALL ALL THESE UNITS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE NOT EVEN WORK???
Because if people have SO slow speeds, if people loose data because of the supposed RAID(?), if people have bricked devices due to data corruption or… , if people need to wait days till factory reset takes place… and other things, is this supposed that this device WORKS???
In my opinion NOT AT ALL!!!, And believe me… NO MORE WD products in my company if nothing happens from WD side for this case…
