The Dreaded RAID Degraded

One my drives has failed, so I got it replaced, then I got the dreaded message, RAID degraded, I rebuilt 5 times still not going, I scanned it says all are healthy, its taking long time to rebuild yet it says volume rebuild failed. am I missing anything?
