The solution to the problem has been settled: Rollback to the earlier version of software.
But the cause keeps being a mistery for us.
Not a single word from WD. It seemes WD is very busy buying “Sandisk”, developing OS3 for My Cloud devices.
All these events leave no resources to solve the problmes of our little, 2 years old device.
Still some questions I’d like to know the answer
The problem dissapear once you rollback the firmware, but turns it up again if you are bold enough to upgrade a second time?
someone with a new version of the device is having the same problem? In this case someone should warn potential buyers
