Swapping Drives (G-Raid)

When I fill my current 6tb g-raid, I’d like to insert new drives and start adding data.

I’d like to be able to remove the drives that I fill, store them, and access the data on those drives in the future.

Looks something like this:

  1. Fill raid with data in 2023
  2. Once raid is full, remove those drives and save them in storage
  3. Insert new drives for 2024 data
  4. In the future, remove 2024 drives inside the enclosure and insert 2023 drives to access data
  5. Remove 2023 drives and store, returning the 2024 drives for current data storage

Are the g-raid enclosures set up for this type of system?

Sorry if this is a basic but I have the same question…
I have a G-raid 20TB (2x 10tb) thunderbolt enclosure working as one 20tb drive.
Im at 15tb full at the moment and would like to swap out the 2 x 10tb drives and start a fresh with 2x new10tb drives. Swapping the 2x 10tb drives back and forth when needed.

Is this possible?
