The software will not load for My Passport Ultra. It states i do not have sufficient privaledges to complete the software installation. Log in as administrator.
Why is it saying this? How can i get around this to actually used the portable hard drive i just purchased.

Hi there and welcome to the WD community.
You should be able to use the device as a normal USB drive, however if you with to use the backup software that come with the drive, you can try installing the software by right clicking in the drive and then clicking on run as administrator to see if this helps you install the software, if you do not want to use the software you can find the drive under Computer or This PC (depending on the operating system you are using).
