Hi everyone,
I’m trying to find a way to shutdown my Cloud 4 Tb but it seems this firmware doesn’t have shutdown button.
The application WDsync neither. Any one knows how to do it? eventually by SSH?
Thanks in advance!

What device and Operating System are you using? Do you have Quickview and have you tried it?
Thanks a lot cat0w! Indeed by the WD Quick view I have the shutdown option!
WD screwed the pooch on the My Cloud Dashboard shutdown option when they released the second generation v2.x single bay My cloud. Do a forum search (magnifying glass icon upper right) and you’ll find LOTS of past complaints and discussion on how to shut down a second generation single bay v2.x My Cloud. There have been requests going back two years now to fix this issue with the second gen v2.x single bay My Cloud and WD refuses to do so.
WD now has a WD Support Knowledgebase article up that explains how to shut down each single bay My Cloud version.
One can also use SSH to issue the shutdown command(s) for each single bay version too. Use the forum search feature, magnifying glass icon upper right, to find numerous past discussions explaining how to issue the shutdown command via SSH.
