Hi
We have a WD EX4100 firmware 2.31.204 that is configured using SMB 3 with AD enabled and connected to a VM Veeam Backup and Replication Windows 2016 Server
Everything was working fine for around 6 months and now we are seeing authentication errors between the NAS and Veeam
What is not clear is why the EX4100 is showing the following error in the logs
SAMBA CIFS: Authentication for user [DOMAIN_Name\servername$] has FAILED.
With an authentication error for a user we would expect to see Domain\Server\USER
Veeam B&R error
Processing SERVERNAME Error: Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.
Any help on this would be much appreciated
