Continuous error message

I keep getting the following error message (multiple examples shown to demonnstarte frequency):

2016 Jul 12 10:20:55 SAMBA CIFS: Authentication for user [guest] has FAILED.

2016 Jul 12 10:10:55 SAMBA CIFS: Authentication for user [guest] has FAILED.

2016 Jul 12 10:10:55 SAMBA CIFS: Authentication for user [guest] has FAILED.

2016 Jul 12 10:00:55 SAMBA CIFS: Authentication for user [guest] has FAILED.

2016 Jul 12 10:00:55 SAMBA CIFS: Authentication for user [guest] has FAILED.

2016 Jul 12 09:50:59 SAMBA CIFS: Authentication for user [guest] has FAILED.

2016 Jul 12 09:50:59 SAMBA CIFS: Authentication for user [guest] has FAILED.

2016 Jul 12 09:40:54 SAMBA CIFS: Authentication for user [guest] has FAILED.

Any ideas? The drive appears to be working, if somewhat slowly.

When do you get those error messages? How are you accessing your unit when it happens or which tasks are you running?

I get the same error. You can see these errors when reviewing the log files n the GUI admin utiliy
there is another thread somewhere that had the solution on how to fix this.
its a Windows login related issue not just WD
