Using Windows 10. When attempting to eject MyPassport drive using Safely Remove Hardware tab, I get a message that says windows can’t eject the drive because another program(s) is using it. I have closed all applications that look like they might still be accessing the drive, but still get the same result. Even performing a shutdown doesn’t work.
How can I figure out what application is preventing me from safely removing the drive so I can then unplug it from my pc and not damage the drive?

I have this problem too. I have shut down all apps, and checked Task Manager, and NOTHING is using the drive. And yet it still refuses to be ejected.
