How can i test the health of my hard disk in this wd my book live?
Log into the Web UI.
Click SUPPORT,
Click CREATE & SAVE in the lower left window.
You’ll be prompted to download a ZIP file.
When you have it, open the ZIP, and you’ll find a file called
systemLog_XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Open that folder, you’ll find a text file called smart_info.
There ya go!
