I have a My Book Studio Edition 500 GB and last days the write/read speeds going almost  1Mb/s…

What can i do?

Hello,

Have you test your drive with a different USB or Firewire cable? How about another computer?

I test the drive with firewire 800, 400 ( with adapter ) and usb 2 and i get the same speeds.

I didn’t test it in another computer, but it’s not computer’s problem because i have 2 more external HDs ( 1 My Book Studio 1.5 TB and 1 my book 250 GB ) and they work perfect!!
