Resume copy after restart?

Hi!

I was copying about 80 GB of data to my 6TB Duo Live and somewhere halfway through my Mac froze (my bad, I opened too many programs at the same time, it couldn’t restore itself), had to use the power button to restart.
Having reconnected the Live Book I saw the maps I was copying are still shown, although greyed out. It says ‘calculating size’ without ever giving a result though.

I’m guessing I just have to start over, but maybe it’s still possible to resume the copy somehow? That would save a couple of hours of my time (and some in the future), if possible. I simply used finder, Mac OS X 10.8.4 (12E55).

Thanks in advance

Not sure how Macs work, but at least PCs will let you skip over files that have already been copied.

Macs do that too, but I can’t access the greyed out folders to drag the files there. Dragging a map to the folder results in a copy of the map named [mapname] 2 It doesn’t ask me if I would like to overwrite the folder, could be I’m missing something.

The MBLD may have a hung transfer and is marking those files as already opened.

You may need to reboot the MBLD to clear that, then reboot your MAC as well.

Then you’ll need to look to see which file(s) got corrupted due to the crash.
