Replace damaged hard drive

I wish to install a new hard drive in my MY CLOUD 4tb
Is there any video etc showing instructions and do you have to install any firmware etc
I can not acsess the original because the drive was dropped and I think it was damaged.
it tries to boot up I get white light then orange light then red stable light
