Remote shutdown of Sharespace NAS

Is there anyway to shutdown the WDA4NC40000N with out using the wd discovery software/ html login ? I would like to send a shutdown command when my ups has just about run out of battery power. I have a windows 7 computer connected to the ups and running the ups monitoring software. This software can run a program a the right time.
Any ideas?

No, there are no commands. The ShareSpace does support some UPS units and the UPS can be plugged into the USB port on the drive and it will shut the drive down when the battery power gets low.
