Refused replacement under warranty

It’s now some 49 + days since above item was sent for replacement on 11/12/25 the status hasn’t changed since, it still shows received date of 15/12/25 also, in your email on 20/01/26 you checked availability of stock found, you do have it in stock but needed few days to address it positively. I am now Utterly Disappointed at lack of professionalism and ethics of WD, is this how you treat customers? I am now of the view of escalating this complaint including, exposure on social media and the likes of Trustpilot and CAB by sharing my horrible stressful experience.

AFAIK WD is sluggish with warranty claims.Go find another disk and use that and get a dual disk enclosure so you can backup etc.
