RAID 0 or RAID1?

I need to know which RAID system is better, RAID 0 or RAID 1?

I had a hard drive failure last week and don’t want to loose my data again.

RAID0 has no redundancy. RAID1 is a mirror.

Yes, if you’re talking about data loss due to drive failure.
The best protection against data loss in general is an independent backup. RAID of any form is NOT a backup.
