Problem with WD HD TV

Hi - yesterday my WD HD TV was working fine, and now today it won’t play any media files - music or video.  I get an error “Unable to play the selected file.  Please see the User Manual for a list of supported file formats”

It is running 1.06.15_V - not sure when it updated, but it was working fine last night with the same files.  I’m a heavy user so keen to get it fixed!

Content is stored on my NAS (QNAP) and streamed across the network.

About to start trying firmware downgrades to see if it helps, but any suggestions welcomed.

Just to update - downgraded to the previous version and all working fine now.  Pretty basic lack of testing there from WD !
