I have just purchased a 2 gig MPW and trying to install the new firmware using the auto function. The battery is not fully charged, but the unit is connected to mains. Firmware downloads but installation fails with message to ensure charge is above 50% or connected to mains. Will this sort itself out when charge level increases?
Yes, you can only update if the battery is more than 50 percent charged and the charger is plugged in to power. It is critical to leave the device on until the installation is complete.
Yes thanks, I found that out. I think I must have mis-read an instruction as 50% charge OR plugged into mains.
