Private Folders

I’ve just bought a WD 1TB drive and am in the process of setting it up.

Plugged it into the network and two laptops can access the public folders on the network which is brilliant, now I’ve created a number of users (with passwords) and setting up the rest of the folder structure, however everyone can see the private folders and access them even when they haven’t signed in with the credentials!

Anyone had this problem before?

You need to make sure that the share settings are correct – set for PRIVATE and that only the specific user can access them.
