PR2100 - Red Pro 16 TB drives?

I’ve currently got a PR2100 with two 8 TB drives in it (Raid mode 1). Drive 1 just developed a bad SMART.

WD currently has a good sale on the 16 TB Red Pro drives. Does anyone know if I can replace my two 8s with two of these 16s? After I’ve done all the raid copies and expansions, will I end up with 16 TB available for raid mode 1 with the PR2100?

The drive compatibility chart doesn’t list the red pro 16 but it does list the 18 …

Did you try this in the end? Am looking to upgrade to these drives also given the recent price drop on them!

I couldn’t find any confirmation that the 16s would work so I ended up purchasing two 14 TB drives instead. I also noticed that WD sells the PR2100 with two 14s so I’m confident that size should work. My two 14 Red Pros just arrived today so I’ll do the installation / RAID rebuilds over the next few days.
