Well all I know for sure is I have had an old Toshiba hdd and currently have a samsung hdd running with this WD drive, and none of them have any access delays or issues and they all cost alot less than this one. I am hopeful that WD are watching this forum and working on a solution because if not, I will never be using a WD drive ever again.
Difficult to say. This thread is rather large and we are cherry picking someone out of the mob. I would post a quoted reply to that customer and say based off of what he is specifically saying, he should RMA.
