had a brief power outage, now the Mybook is inaccessible and stuck on a red light led.
I don’t have SSH , lost it during that firmware fiasco some time ago
I have backups, but they’re a week old
what can I do to get my data off? I have no issue taking it apart, it’s way past warranty anyway…

The file system of the WD My Book Live is EXT3. It may be possible to access the information on Linux-based systems.
