Bought a WD My Passport Ultra 1TB yesterday. Placed a password and forgot it. Had to erase all data on it. Can I still place a lock on it? It’s literally empty now. Thanks in advance!
Download WD Security Software for Windows(or Mac) which allows password protection and hardware encryption to be set to protect the drive from unauthorized use or access.
