Hello,

i start using my WDLive HUB 3 days (and nights) ago. All starts perfekt, so I start using a theme

Next Level: Creating my own Movie Information (German) and use a template to generate my own movie sheet…

I used Thumbgen and tried all switches (also a HowToo)… I get a Moviename.jpg,  moviename.tgmd, moviename_sheet.jpg (it looks good !!!) and a moviename.xml.

I copy all the files to the internal HDD an restart the WD. When i click to the Movie selection, i see NOT my moviename_sheet.jpg, I only see my movie.jpg, the movie info text and changing Backgrounds every x seconds :frowning: Thats not what i want.

After viewing the moviename.xml I found different URL’s (Background) and delete them. I place my moviename_sheet.jpg name into this area.

But now the Background changes every x seconds with one (and only this one) background picture…

Hey Erlbacher,

It sounds like you have everything setup correclty and have it working right.   This version of Mojo is only supposed to have the one Moviesheet display, as it seems you have, but it is meant to be more of a static image, rather than rotating image.

To make it static (or at least semi-static) you need to go into “Setup”, then select “Photo Settings”.   Now, select “Slideshow Transition” and chose “Fade”, then select “Slideshow Interval Time” and set that to “5 min”.

Now you will have the backdrop show up as semi-static image.

No I’m playing with some themes… learning how it works…

I’m testing OsdModHub 1.0 … great stuff…

But on the Movie screen, when the discription text ist to long, the text automaticly starts scrolling :frowning: and so fast, that I can’t read :smileyvery-happy:

Can I change the scrolling speed ???

The text issue was introduced in the latest firmware.  Yes you can change the speed, but unfortunately it can be unstable at times.

You change the scroll speed by opening up the views xml the text line it will have  speed=“x” (x being some number), just change the value of x to a higher number and the srcolling will slow down.

Where can I find this xml ??? Sorry didn’t find it

Found it in the rv_gallery_browse_page.xml

Locatet in:

\WDTVLIVEHUB\WDTVLiveHub.wd_tv\theme\OsdModHub 1.0

and I must change the value to 0 (instead of 1)

Nox the Text stands still… it’s all right for me :smiley:
