Passport not recognized by my computer

I am using Windows 7 professional and I am using WD Unlocker. I use my password to unlock the drive and the drive says it is unlocked, however, there is no passport visible, no information, files, folder et al to view on my computer. All drives are accounted for expect the unlocked WD. When I take the WD to the store I purchased it at they hook it up to their computer and the passport drive opens up for viewing. Why can I not open the WD on my home or work computer? I must be doing something wrong with setting or something. I would greatly appreciate any help or comments.


It is possible you have a defective USB cable or port. IT is also possible the partition is corrupted.

I recommend you replace the USB cable and also run a diagnostic using WD DLG. You have to make sure the driv is unlocked before running the diagnostic.
